BFO
- HALTON PEEL EVENTS:
Share
and Support night
"The
Power of Remembering"
Guest Speaker: Reverend Jamie Holtom
Jamie
Holtom is a United Church minister in Brampton where he
has been part of the leadership of a growing faith community
for almost ten years. Jamie and his wife Katrina lost
their first child Lucas back in July 2000 during the Pine
Lake tornado that hit down near Red Deer, Alberta. Part
of their healing has been to continue to remember Lucas
and to celebrate his life.
When
we lose someone we love one of our biggest fears is that
they will be forgotten. We want desperately to remember
them. And so we should. In face there are very real and
practical ways that we can do that very thing. We can
also help others remember and honour their loved ones.
Come and remember.
Note:
If you remember, please bring a favourite photo of your
loved one.
Date: Tuesday June 3, 7:00 -8:30 PM
Location: BFO Halton-Peel Office: 6700 Century Ave. Suite
